Creative Projects
Ranging in scale and media, below is a sampling of my creative endeavors:
-
A bright and cheery tablescape for Valentine’s Day. Made from cupcake liners, foam, and cardboard. (2024)
-
Disco ball Dining. Couldn’t help but to create a disco ball mobile for my kitchen. (2023)
-
A full dining set refresh! Once a worn and outdated yellow oak, this set now boasts a bold, modern look with updated cushions, perfectly complementing its new-build home. (2021)
-
A friend asked for a pony for her birthday and with an abundance of cardboard and tissue paper laying around, I created a pony piñata. (2020)
-
When I enrolled in the UX/UI Bootcamp, which was held virtually, I had a problem: I needed a desk, but did not have the physical space for one. To solve this, I turned old wooden shelves and boards into a desk that fits and rolls over my bed. (2020)
-
A welcome wreath made with felt, using various techniques to create floral-like elements. (2020)
-
Before and After of an upcycled chandelier. This was a project commissioned for a Halloween party. I took a chandelier that was being thrown out and turned it into a freestanding candelabra with the use of spray paint and beaded necklaces. (2014)
-
A set of handkerchiefs sewn for a small local brand, SIR. This is a close-up of the stitching that was used. These were sewn with a rolled-hem stitch and mitered corners. (2015)
-
A freestanding faux fireplace with tea lights. This was built by strategically layering bricks without the use of an adhesive agent, based on ancient bricklaying methods. (2014)
