Ramsey County Children’s Mental Health Collaborative Website Redesign

The Ramsey County Children’s Mental Health Collaborative is a collaborative of mental health professionals whose mission is to provide mental health resources and support to families.

Specifically, they offer a Calm Room page which offers 60 tools to distract, relax and strengthen emotional and mental health for kids and teens.

However, we observed that their current website is not helping them meet their goals, as it is poorly designed. How might we improve the RCCMHC website so that the number of families who utilize their website increases?

Tools Used

Project Management Tools: Zoom, Google Drive Suite, SmartSheet Gantt Chart, Slack

Design Tools: Miro, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision

Project Overview

The Problem: Teenagers need an easy to use online resource to reduce stress and anxiety because they do not always know how to develop their emotional health.
The Solution: A Homepage and Navigation redesign to bring clarity to their mission. Along with a Calm Room redesign which allows their resource to be easier to use, as well as more appealing to tech-savvy teenagers.
